Polished Concrete is a floor system in which the concrete slab is treated, then “polished” with large grinding machines to remove the top layer of cement until the concrete floor attains a high gloss finish. Like stained concrete, a polished concrete floor offers the advantage of low maintenance costs and can be finished with dyes to look like polished marble or stone.
